UNV Internship Programme
REQUIREMENTS

Basic requirements for applicants:

• 26 years of age (maximum)
• Fluency in English
• Italian citizenship
• Holding one of the following academic qualifications:
  - laurea degree (old Italian university system)
  - laurea specialistica (new Italian university system)
  - laurea (new Italian university system) followed by a Master's Degree

Candidates holding a Bachelor's Degree or similar, must have in addition a Master’s Degree or a Maîtrise in order to meet the Programme's academic requirements.

Additional qualifications:

• Post-degree training
• Knowledge of other UN official languages
• Professional and field experience, including voluntary work
• Computer skills
• Ideal candidates are flexible and adaptable to different environments and situations, extremely open and respectful towards cultural diversity
  

Field of Expertise

The competence demanded varies greatly and depends on the requests made by the international organizations. It may range from generic academic qualifications (jurist, economist etc) to other specialisations such as:
