UNV INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME

The UNV Internship Programme is financed by the Directorate General for Development Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy and implemented by the United Nations Volunteers (UNV), in collaboration with the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN/DESA), office in Rome. This initiative provides university graduates with the opportunity to offer their services to developing countries for a 12-month period.

The main areas of interest as identified by UNV in cooperation with the Italian Authorities are the following:

- Governance
- Gender
- Information and Communication Technology
- Micro-Enterprises
- Poverty Reduction
- Sustainable Development
- Environment
